Chevrolet Express CIT

The Chevrolet Express CIT 1500, 2500, and 3500 is a commercial van that is suitable for cash-in-transit van conversion.  Available with gasoline V8 and V6 engine options, the Express can also be configured with AWD.  If more cargo room is required, extended wheelbase variants are also available.

Armoring can be configured from B4/NIJ IIIA to defeat handguns and all the way up to B6/NIJ III for protection against assault rifles, and can be customized for the driver, guards, and cargo compartments.  In addition, each armored van can be customized with security equipment such as cameras, high security locks, drop chute, radio, and gun ports.

Chevrolet Silverado CIT

The Chevrolet Silverado HD truck is a very versatile platform that can be used for many applications including cash-in-transit. The Chevrolet Silverado CIT from IAG offers great payload capacity and ability to customize the rear box to fit any need and budget.  Several layout options offer a pure cargo set up rear box or a messenger compartment outfitted with an independent A/C, safety mesh and communication equipment with the front of the truck.  Safety features such as CCTV, high security locks, drop chute and more can be added to the vehicle.

Armoring packages ranging from CEN B4/NIJ IIIA to CEN B6/NIJ III are available.

Ford F-550 CIT

The Ford F550 CIT has been a proven platform as a bank truck in the money and cash transport industries, used extensively by agencies and commercial companies worldwide.  The truck’s high payload capacity makes it suitable to cope with the added weight of ballistic materials and its day-to-day functions. The suspension, brakes, and tires are upgraded to ensure that the vehicle performance, handling, and safety are all improved.

The Ford F550 platform can be configured as a B-Body design, cutaway or modular design where the rear box can be taken off and put on another chassis if needed.  There are several wheelbases available as well as three engine options.  IAG is able to source both domestic and export versions of the chassis suitable to meet all emission standards and norms including high sulphur diesel.

A highly versatile platform, IAG has successfully outfitted numerous armored Ford F-350 trucks for use in almost every demand. This includes use as an armored cash in transit truck, armored troop transport truck, armored cargo transport truck, armored gun truck, and armored ambulance.  The Ford F350 CIT is available in various configurations with options such as a powerful turbo diesel or gasoline V8 engine, automatic transmission, 4×4 or 4×2, different cabins (regular, crew, or super), and short or long wheelbase.  The heavy duty off-road suspension package coupled with heavy duty wheels and tires makes this platform ideal for rural use in harsh terrains.

IAG is one of the first companies to design and manufacture the Ford Transit Cash In Transit Vehicle. With a large selection of lengths and roof heights, the Ford Transit is a very versatile vehicle able to meet even the most demanding requirements.   The armored Ford Transit CIT is a great way to transport valuables and money within urban and rural areas in a safe manner.  Various options can be outfitted on this vehicle from CCTV, high security locks, interlocking systems, palm reader and key access cards, vehicle tracking from a central station and much more.    It can be armored from CEN B4 and NIJ IIIA to CEN B6 and NIJ III.

GMC Savana CIT

The IAG armored GMC Savana CIT (cash-in-transit) van is available with a 5.3L V8 and a 6.0L V8 gasoline engines or 6.6L turbo diesel V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Available in regular and extended wheelbase versions, the vehicle has ample room for up to 3-4 separate compartments for driver and co-driver, messengers/guards and cargo/valuables.  The GMC Savana is the last American full-size van left on the market and works as a great solution to meet the urban needs of transporting valuables and cash  in larger metropolitan areas whilst maintaining a low profile.

Armoring levels range from CEN B4/ NIJ IIIA to protect against .44 Magnum rounds to CEN B6/NIJ III to protect against .308 and 7.62×51 M80 rounds.

Navistar International CIT

The Navistar International CIT truck platforms are proven for heavy duty applications. With a wide range of engines and load variants available, IAG can configure these highly versatile platforms to suit the client’s most demanding needs.  Some of the most popular models used for CIT applications include the International Durastar 4100, 4300, 4400, Hybrid and Mid-Cab Tractor.  International CIT (s) are best suited for heavy loads such as coins and bullion transport. They can be outfitted with heavy duty electric lift gates to assist in loading the pallets and cargo.  Sliding rails inside the CIT are a recommended feature to help speed up loading and unloading.

Iveco Daily CIT

The Iveco Daily is a light commercial vehicle manufactured since the late 70s and is still heavily in use in Europe and Middle East today.  The IAG Iveco Daily CIT is a great cash in transit solution for heavily populated areas and routes and for companies with smaller budgets.  The Iveco Daily armored van is available in many configurations with several engine sizes, wheelbases and both cargo van and cutaway chassis versions.  The Iveco Daily van has a limited payload capacity, however the chassis B-Body version can carry heavier loads.  Armoring packages also range from CEN B4 to CEN B6.

Peugeot Boxer CIT

In regions such as Europe, the local infrastructure may not be able to support larger cash-in-transit armored vehicles such as trucks based on the Ford F550 or International chassis. Platforms such as the Peugeot Boxer are ideal for conversion into an armored CIT van due to its smaller dimension and availability of parts in Europe.  The new Peugeot Boxer CIT has a reinforced structure, with a programmed crumple zone that absorbs the energy released during impact. This new structure provides improved robustness and greater acoustic comfort.  The new design shock-absorber support  provides the vehicle with stability under load. The braking system is even more efficient and also provides a measure of its performance and safety.

This unique design of a CIT derived from an armored personnel carrier body is the latest addition to IAG’s cash in transit armored vehicle range. Based on Toyota’s 79 Series Land Cruiser chassis the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 CIT is ideal for transport of high value items in extreme risk zones around the globe. The heavy duty suspension, brakes and wheels and tires allow this CIT to traverse over any terrain with ease. Due to the mostly mechanical components, this CIT is easy and inexpensive to maintain. With both LHD and RHD versions available, the LC79 armored CIT can be used worldwide.
