Guardian MAX Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV)

The Guardian MAX LTV is a dynamic solution based on commercially available Ford HD truck chassis certified to STANAG LEVEL II level of protection. With optional add on armor the vehicle can be armored up to STANAG LEVEL III. The Guardian MAX is designed to seat up to 5 personnel in the cabin with a large cargo compartment in the rear. The standard configuration includes certified blast mitigation seats equipped with five point harnesses mounted directly on the vehicle structural walls to minimize transmission of shock waves. The mechanical components such as the suspension and braking systems have been designed for superior drivability, off-road capability and to sustain the entire armoring weight plus crew and cargo. The high payload military grade tires are equipped with beadlock tactical wheels and run-flat assemblies and can be outfitted with an optional semi-automatic central tire inflation system (CTIS). To meet specific mission requirements the Guardian MAX can be outfitted with a remote controlled turret, surveillance equipment, or be equipped as a recovery vehicle.
