When an armored vehicle needs attention, an agency wants a clear answer, the right part and someone who takes responsibility for getting the issue resolved. That is how we approach aftermarket support at International Armored Group. Our commitment combines U.S. parts and manufacturing resources, flexible service options and direct access to the people who know your vehicle.
The relationship you build during the purchase continues after delivery. You can return to the same IAG team member that helped spec your vehicle, with technical specialists brought in as needed.
US parts backed by global manufacturing
IAG operates a U.S.-based factory and additional manufacturing facilities in the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria and Türkiye. This gives our U.S. operation the backing of a broader engineering and production network, adding capacity and redundancy to support customers over time.
We stock fast-moving components in the United States to help reduce the wait for commonly needed parts. We also offer spare-parts kits for agencies that want selected service items on hand. The aim is practical: keep a routine component replacement from becoming an extended interruption to vehicle availability.
Service options that work for your agency
We offer depot service and remote technical support, and we are comfortable working with qualified third-party repair providers. Your fleet technicians, a suitable Ford service facility or a local specialist can be part of the solution.
The repair route should reflect the work involved. Remote troubleshooting may establish what needs attention before a vehicle moves. Suitable work can then be coordinated locally, while repairs requiring specialist equipment or deeper intervention can be handled at a depot. That flexibility can reduce unnecessary transport, duplicated work and time spent waiting for a factory appointment.
Our willingness to work with other providers comes with technical support and appropriate repair requirements. Armor, glass and integrated systems need the right parts and procedures. For warranty work, the agreed authorization process should be followed before repairs begin. Our approved service network includes facilities qualified to work on our vehicles without voiding the IAG warranty.
A Ford foundation built for serviceability
The Sentinel ARV is built on the Ford F-550 platform, giving agencies access to an established supply of chassis parts and experienced commercial-vehicle service providers. Routine maintenance can draw on that familiar infrastructure, with IAG supporting the armor conversion and specialized equipment.
We retain the Ford frame without cutting or shortening it. Our steering and suspension upgrades are engineered to support maneuverability and the demands of the armored vehicle’s operating weight. This allows us to pursue the handling our customers need while retaining the original frame length.
Ballistic glass supported by its manufacturer
Ballistic glass is a major service consideration over the life of an armored vehicle. It can require replacement following an engagement or other damage. Delamination, the separation of layers within the glazing, can also develop in service and affect visibility. Changes in glass condition should be assessed promptly.
IAG manufactures its ballistic glass through Transparent Armor Systems, or TAS. We control production and quality checks within our own group. TAS checks dimensions, thickness, geometry, light transmission and optical distortion, and conducts accelerated ageing and abrasion tests on sampled units. This puts manufacturing quality under our direct oversight.
That control also matters when glass needs replacement. Through IAG’s replacement-glass program, the agency has a direct route to the manufacturer of its glazing. Our vehicle and glass teams can coordinate the replacement specification and installation requirements, helping avoid additional handoffs between unrelated suppliers. The same manufacturing capability that supports the original build supports the vehicle afterward.
Clear warranty responsibility and repair coordination
An armored vehicle brings together the Ford chassis, IAG’s conversion, ballistic glass and installed equipment. Their warranty terms may differ. We help customers identify the responsible party and the appropriate repair route, with coverage governed by the written terms for the supplied vehicle and components.
That is where a continuing relationship is valuable. The people who understand your original configuration can help coordinate the next step with the relevant technical team. Whether an issue is covered by warranty or requires a paid repair, the customer still needs a clear path to a resolution.
Planning for years of service
Support begins with the maintenance and service schedule supplied with each IAG vehicle. As the vehicle ages, attention to brakes, suspension, door hardware, seals and glazing helps identify work before it becomes a larger interruption. IAG also offers optional extended maintenance and service contracts.
For agencies planning a decade or more of ownership, that means reviewing spares, component condition and future repair needs as part of the fleet plan. The goal is to make long-term ownership manageable and to keep the vehicle ready for its role.
Our reputation continues with every service call
Agencies talk to one another. A parts request handled properly, a useful answer from a technician and a problem followed through to resolution all shape what one customer tells the next. We rely on that word of mouth, which makes aftermarket service central to how we do business.
At IAG, the people who helped you buy remain part of your support relationship. They know your agency, understand the vehicle you selected and can help bring the right resources to the issue. Our reputation depends on how well we look after customers throughout ownership.
