Mercedes Benz S Class

Carrying on the reputation built by its predecessors, the W222 armored Mercedes Benz S Class continues to be an innovator in the flagship luxury sedan market.  As an alternative to the Mercedes Benz Guard, IAG offers up-armoring packages for the S Class sedan, up to CEN B6 level, that combine ballistic and blast protection with the comfort and luxury of the original vehicle. Officially unveiled in May 2013, the newest S-Class has a more streamlined appearance than the previous W221 model. Some features include a large front grille inspired by the F700 Concept car and LED lights used exclusively inside and out – a first in the automotive industry. The new S-Class comes with a more powerful twin-turbo V8 engine producing 455HP, while the S600 comes with a twin-turbo V12 engine. There is also a diesel-powered S350 BlueTEC version, a hybrid S400 with a 20-kilowatt electric motor and 306HP V6 engine, a diesel-electric hybrid S300 BlueTEC.
