The Toyota Coaster is a commonly used model in regions such as the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, making it an ideal platform for armored passenger bus conversion.  The Coaster is available with both diesel and gasoline engines and a 5-speed manual gearbox and can be armored to the CEN B6/NIJ Level III specifications while maintaining a discrete profile.  In order to support the weight of the armoring in addition to providing a high seating capacity, IAG has designed specific upgrades for the armored Toyota Coaster to maximize the vehicle life cycle to provide a reliable solution for armored transport.
